How to add the widget to your Android home screen
The exact steps vary a little between phone makers, but the usual way is:
- Touch and hold an empty space on your home screen.
- Tap Widgets.
- Find Law of Attraction Toolbox in the list and choose the Vision Board widget. Its description reads “Keep your vision board in sight all day”.
- Touch and hold the widget, then drag it to where you want it and let go.
The widget starts at 2 by 2 cells. You can resize it horizontally and vertically by touching and holding it and dragging the handles.
Which vision board does the widget show?
The widget shows a preview image of one of your boards. It uses the board you last viewed on the Vision Board card on your Today tab. If there is not one, it falls back to the most recently updated board that has a preview image. When you save changes to a board in the Vision Board tool, the widget refreshes to match.
If you have no boards yet, the widget shows “Tap to create your vision board”. Tapping it takes you into the app.
What happens when you tap it
Tapping the widget opens Law of Attraction Toolbox and takes you straight to that board in the full-screen viewer. From there you can enjoy it, then go on to your practice.
Tips
- Build or refine your board first in Tools, under Vision Board, so the widget has something inspiring to show.
- To change which board the widget shows, view the board you want on your Today tab’s Vision Board card.
- Place the widget where you already look often, such as your main home screen.
- Give it a quiet moment: when you notice it, take a breath and picture the feeling of already having what is on the board.
